Brief: Encourage consumers to support high street brands in a post COVID-19 world
Chosen Brand: Primark UK
We have already seen the huge impact of COVID-19 has had on many industries, with the retail among the worst hit. Select a brand you may find on your local high street and design a campaign that will encourage consumers to make a conscious shopping decision to support them through this difficult period. High street stores all have employees, and consumer spending has the power to ensure their survival. Can you convince shoppers to support them once the lockdown is lifted?
Creative idea: We decided to turn Primark’s £1.5bn worth of stock destined for landfill into incredible fashion installations placed inside and out the brand’s UK stores. While repurposing the garments using the help of artists we’ll start a competition between them that will allow our customers to participate and vote for their favourite one and the chance to win a prize.
